Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapists help individuals accomplish everyday activities, or “occupations”, that are meaningful and essential. The primary occupations of childhood are play, learning, and self-care. Through play-based activities, OTs provide opportunities for children to improve their fine motor, gross-motor, social skills, visual-motor, self-care, self-regulation, and interoception. Occupational therapy services help children learn how to navigate and participate in their home, school, and community environments.
