Dr. Pamela Owen Brucker has over 30 years of experience in  special education, as a teacher, an administrator, anduniversity department chair. She has published several  research  articles  in professional, peer review journals  and has presented research, methodology, and  innovations in special education at  peer reviewed, international conferences. She has presented numerous professional development  events, and consults with both public schools and parents.  She hasobtained over $2 million in grant opportunities for training teachers.  Additionally, she has served on many state and national  committees. She currently serves on the external advisory board for the Center for Excellence in Autism Spectrum Disorders at Southern CT State University , and was a member of the MSAD 61 School Board for 3 years.Although she is retired from her university and teaching positions, she continues to  provide consultation services on a contractual basis.
